Dear ABA Members,

Welcome to our May newsletter, featuring articles and/or slides related to our April meeting presentations. A special thank you to Harsh Shah of Amwins, and to Ruth Gillan, Pauling Huynh of Hilb Group, and Suzanne Taranto of Milliman, for their presentations and their contributions to the newsletter. Also, a thank you to our April lunch sponsor, Jay Goebel of True Rx.

Our upcoming meeting on June 3rd will feature two important presentations. The first will be by Noureen Rahman of Segal, presenting: Are you Audit Ready? How to Ensure you are Prepared in the Event of an Audit.

The second presentation will be by Matt Davis of Green Light, entitled Turning Regulatory Change into Opportunity: A Strategic Approach to Optimizing Out-of-Network Cost Management in the No Surprises Act Era.

During the summer months, keep a lookout for Save the Dates for our ABA Brunch on Sunday, November 9, 10 AM – 1 PM, and for our Annual Reception, Thursday, December 4, 6 PM- 10 PM, St. Regis Hotel New York.

We’re also excited about a breakfast meeting we’re planning, tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, October 21, 9 AM – Noon, in collaboration with BPEA. It will be open to all ABA members and will be a roundtable focused on best practices in engaging our members and driving utilization to our various point solutions and benefit offerings. More on that coming soon!
