Dear ABA Members,
We’re finally nearing the warmer weather of spring, ordinarily a time of new beginnings and hope. We’re living in unprecedented times, but we cling to the possibility of hope, no? In any event, as Fund Administrators and as those who support union retirement funds and health & welfare funds, we have our participants to look after and our mission to bring value to them and to our funds. At the ABA, we try to do our part by continuing to bring you educational sessions and networking opportunities, and to bring to your attention proposed or enacted legislation and regulations that impact our plans. At our last meeting, we had two very informative sessions, presented by David Lauritzen of Conifer Health and by Taeho Oh of US-Rx Care. Thank you both! By now you should have received our email invitation to our April meeting, at which we’re bringing you two more important presentations. The first will be by Harsh Shah of Amwins, presenting PBM Procurement: A Consultant’s Blueprint for Union Benefits. The second presentation will be by Ruth Gillan and Pauling Huyhn, of the Hilb Group, and Suzanne Taranto, of Milliman, entitled Proactive Stop Loss Management.
