Johnathan Schwartz

Long Term Care

Solutions Consultant

New York Life

Lauri LoQuercio

Financial Services Professional

New York Life

Lauri’s background includes

30 + years of experience working within a labor union environment. She has a strong understanding of how unions operate and how collective bargaining agreements are structured. This experience allows her to identify potential gaps in benefits and help evaluate financial service solutions that can complement existing coverage. As a result, unions often use Lauri as a resource for both their staff and their members when reviewing and understanding different types of financial planning options.

Conor White

Solution Engineer

Medefy

Grew up in the rural midwest, rooted in agriculture and the trades — carpentry, masonry specifically. Fortunate enough that Football led him to college, where he ended up studying Computational Science and Physics with a focus on computer science for the aerospace industry. Life had other plans.

A serious injury redirected the path to military service, and landed instead in the tech startup world — specifically a personalized medicine genomics company in St. Louis. That’s where something clicked: the intersection of technology and healthcare is one of the most important — and most underserved — spaces we have.

Over the last seven years, the focus has been going deep into healthcare and benefits navigation. The mission is simple, even if the work isn’t: help people get better outcomes, lower the cost of care, and make an impossibly complex system a little easier to navigate. It’s an admirable space to be in — and a target-rich environment for people who like solving hard problems.

Today presently at Medefy, leading both the pre-sales and post-sales sides of Solutions Engineering. The way I think about it: my job is making sure promises made become promises delivered.

Sandy Navarro

Senior Director Growth

Medefy

Sandy Navarro’s career is driven by a singular vision: to un-complicate the healthcare world and provide a clear path to resolution for those who need it most. With over 14 years of experience, Sandy’s journey began on the front lines as a licensed Benefits Navigator, providing face-to-face guidance to the rank and file in the transportation, manufacturing, and retail sectors.

This foundational advocacy evolved into senior leadership at Kaiser Permanente and into the digital era with Medefy. Currently, as a steward of Medefy’s innovative, blended Care Navigation platform, Sandy oversees a digital-first approach that connects members with 24/7 live clinical experts to resolve healthcare hurdles in minutes. By upholding the humanity behind the technology, she ensures that even in a digital-first world, no worker must navigate their health benefits alone.

A bilingual leader covering the NY Metro Area, Northeast & Mid-Atlantic region, Sandy holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Cybersecurity, offering a unique “technical-meets-tactical” approach to benefits strategy. She is currently pursuing her Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation, continuing her commitment to fiduciary integrity and the protection of member benefits.

Beyond her credentials, Sandy’s dedication to the workforce is a family legacy. With deep roots in the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) Local in Northern New Jersey, she remains a fierce advocate for labor rights and compassionate, clear-eyed healthcare guidance for all.
