Dear ABA Members,
Welcome to our Spring Newsletter! Included are photos from our February meeting, as well as articles related to the February presentations, and the slides to the presentations themselves. We had an extremely engaged audience, a testament to the presenters’ piquing our interest and to our audience’s inquisitiveness. Thank you, both presenters and ABA members who attended!
Our April meeting will likewise bring us two dynamic and important presentations. Megan Spinella and Adam Bradley from the Cancer Study Group will inform us of the cancer navigation work their organization provides which supports newly-diagnosed cancer patients and helps direct them to the most appropriate care so as to optimize their clinical outcomes.
Jonathan Ferguson, CEO of Truusight, will speak on how to effectively address substance use disorder and mental health in the workplace. Both are not to be missed presentations, so we hope to see you at our meeting!
Lastly, if you haven’t already done so, please do send in your ABA 2023 membership dues! We rely on your membership to continue bringing you informative material and providing you with opportunities to network with your peers.
Next Meeting date is April 4th @ RWDSU 5th Floor Conference Room – 370 7th Avenue NYC 12:00 – 2:00 PM
We will have two important presentations, as more fully described below. If anyone has an article you would like to see in a future ABA newsletter, please contact me as well. Thanks!
